In 2023, Germans took a total of 65 million vacation trips. 22% of trips went to Germany, making it the most popular vacation destination (source: Forschungsgemeinschaft Urlaub und Reisen e.V. ). Due to its diversity and beauty, the Bavarian Swabia region is one of the most prominent areas in southern Germany. Whether for a day trip, short trip or longer stay – every visit to the Nördlinger Ries, the Danube Swabian river valleys, and the foothills of the Alps is worthwhile.
OEOE was selected over other agencies in a tender at the end of 2023 and will be responsible for the region’s destination marketing, including all traditional campaigns and brand management. The work began at the start of the years and will first be showcased as part of a major spring campaign and a European Championship campaign. We are also in the process of updating the corporate identity. We are thrilled to raise awareness of the region, thereby further enhancing the appeal of our home.
